Kensho Watanabe

Kensho Watanabe is a Japanese-American conductor known for his dynamic artistry. A Yale graduate in biology, he pursued conducting at the Curtis Institute under Yannick Nézet-Séguin. Former Assistant Conductor of The Philadelphia Orchestra, he has led major ensembles, including the London Philharmonic and Tokyo Philharmonic, with upcoming engagements at the Metropolitan Opera.
